A stunning country set amongst the massive alpine mountains of the Tian Shan and Kakshaal-Too ranges with mountains up to 7,439 m (24,406 ft), bordered by Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and China.  Kyrgyzstan is oft referred to as "the Switzerland of Central Asia". The month I spent there hiking, camping and touring remains an irresistible memory of a country that demands a return.
